Ortisei is a holiday and ski resort in the Dolomites. Both in winter and summer, there are perfect conditions for active tourism.
A beautiful location in a mountain valley, nice, traditional buildings and excellent accommodation are the main advantages of Ortisei. In summer, the surrounding trails await both hiking and climbing. There are bicycle routes in the lower parts.
In winter, Ortisei turns into one of the most important villages in the Val Gardena area. There are several ski resorts in the area, which give access to approximately 100 kilometers of well-prepared ski slopes. They are served by cable cars, including the Seceda Spa cable car and ski lifts. Some of them are available all year round and in the summer they help to get to the higher routes.
