National park covering a fragment of the diverse coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea near Rome. There are both sandy beaches and dunes, as well as rocky cliffs with caves, which can be reached by boat, as well as the coastal lake Sabaudia and surrounding wetlands.
There are clusters of Mediterranean poppies in the park, and birds are the most numerous of animals. The park is accessible from the land side by walking and cycling routes, and from the sea by boat trips.Less
