Technotown in Rome is a modern educational scientific and technological center, designed for children from 6 years and young people aged 11 to 17 years. Guests can experiment with the latest technologies, learn how to program the robot's movements and control it through infrared sensors, as well as learn the secrets of special effects.
Interactive games, LEGO robots and preparation of a fossil cast using a professional laser scanner are just some of the attractions proposed by the center staff. Daily workshops take place in small groups.
The Technotown Center was founded in 2006 and is located in the Roman public park Villa Torlonia. The goal of the center is to instill in young people a willingness to learn through practical classes conducted by experienced scientists.
