Pietro Canonica Museum

The Pietro Canonica Museum is housed in the home of this outstanding Italian sculptor. A rich collection of his works has been gathered here, and originally decorated interiors have been made available to tourists. You can admire here, among others female sculptures from the turn of the century, as well as portraits of the Romanov family members. A bronze sculpture of a donkey stands in front of the entrance to the building.
Sculptures and bas-reliefs on religious subjects were exhibited in one of the rooms, such as "San Giovanni Bosco", "Madonna and Child" and "Paweł z Tarsu".
Tourists can visit the artist's private rooms, including bedroom, dining room, music room and living room. A studio and library with over 2,000 volumes are also available for them. The library also contains archival photos and documents of the Canonica family.
