Museo Sacrario delle Bandiere is a museum located in Roman Vittoriano. An extensive collection of military flags was used here by the Italian Navy until the end of World War II. The oldest flag from 1860 comes from the Garibaldi ship.
The museum collection also includes other valuable souvenirs, such as the MAS-15 torpedo boat. He took part in the famous action commanded by Lieutenant Luigi Rizzo, on June 10, 1918, torpedoes launched from Drzewiecki's ejector installed on it sank one of the Austro-Hungarian battleships - Szent István.
Visitors can also see an example of a low-speed torpedo, which was often used during naval fights during World War II, and a fragment of the submarine "Scirè" destroyed by the HMS Islay corvette on August 10, 1942.
