San Carlo ai Catinari in Rome is a church built in the 17th century in the Baroque style. You can admire the frescoes by eminent Italian painters: Domenichino, Guido Reni and Giovanni Lanfranco. The church also has a triptych depicting Madonna and Child, Archangel and Saint. John the Baptist by Leonardo da Roma from 1453.

Construction of the temple lasted from 1612 to 1650, it was erected on the plan of a Greek cross. The travertine facade was built in the 1630s according to the design of Giovanni Battista Soria. The main altar is the work of Martino Longhi the Younger.

The church houses the famous relics, among others the skull of Febronia of Nisibis, which was moved here from the ancient temple of San Paolo after it was demolished. Visitors to the church can hear the unique sound of organs from the late nineteenth century.
