Mincio Park

A landscape park in Lombardy including a hilly area surrounding the Mincino valley. Its greatest wealth is the Mantua lakes complex and the wetlands of the Mincino River meandering here.

These are regions where a large number of water and marsh birds nest. The forested, picturesque area is cut by a network of walking and cycling routes. On lakes and rivers you can go canoeing and kayaking. There are also several historic villages and the city of Mantua known for its Renaissance monuments.
