Ducal Palace

An extensive palace complex consisting of several buildings and squares built between the 13th and 17th centuries. It was the seat of the princes of Mantua, and now a large part of its rooms are open to the public. Inside the palace, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque wall and ceiling paintings have been preserved, as well as some furniture and equipment.
