Basilica of Sant Andrea

The church is one of the most important examples of 15th-century Renaissance architecture in northern Italy. Its construction took over 300 years. There are numerous works of art inside and two reliquaries in the crypt. They contain land, according to tradition, steeped in the blood of Christ and collected by the Roman legionnaire Longinus.
