Park of Orleans

Local name: Parco d'Orleans

The park was founded in the 19th century as a nature reserve of the Orleans Palace. Over time, part of it was transferred to the University of Palermo, and the remaining area was given to visitors as an ornithological park. Currently, it is a walking area, where over 100 years old decorative trees and shrubs grow and where there are quiet picnic areas.
