The most important temple in Palermo and in Sicily, entered on the UNESCO list. It was built in the X-XI century, but over the centuries its appearance has changed many times due to reconstruction and renovation. The oldest part of the cathedral is located on the eastern side and is a combination of Romanesque style with Arabic influence. Above the three-nave body on the cross plan is the neoclassical dome, while inside, apart from rich decorations, you can see the reliquary of St. Rozalia and the graves of the Kings of Sicily.
