Milano Centrale

The train station is one of the largest in Europe. It was opened in 1931 and was modeled at Union Station in Washington. Its facade is 200 m wide and 72 m. It is dominated by elements of the Art Deco style and Art Nouveau, with the main hall and platform hall referring to the characteristic Roman architecture.
