Novecento Museum

The history of the current museum began in 1966, when Italian politician and art expert Carlo Ludovico Ragghiant asked artists and collectors to hand over works for the flood-damaged city. 280 artists responded to the appeal, and the works they gave are now the backbone of the collection presenting 20th century Italian art.
