The museum, which also serves as the Music Library, opened in 2004. Located in the Palazzo Sanguinetti. The tour route includes a number of rooms dedicated to various artists and entire eras. The museum also has a conference room, multimedia points, educational laboratories, temporary exhibition grounds and a bookstore.
