Towers that are a symbol of Bologna, as well as an excellent vantage point. At the turn of the twelfth and thirteenth century, there were more than 180 such buildings here, today there are about 20 of them. The most popular are Asinelli and Garisenda. Until 1398 they were connected by a wooden bridge, which, however, was destroyed by fire.
