Municipal Art Collections

Municipal art collections founded in 1936 are located in Palazzo d'Accursio. The gallery was composed by Guido Zucchini, an engineer and art historian, who organized an exhibition devoted to 18th-century Bologna art. The collection includes 250 paintings, furniture, porcelain, textiles, laces, embroidery, as well as religious items, e.g. medieval wooden crucifixes.
