Church of San Michele in Bosco

This is an impressive complex comprising both the church and the nearby monastery, located on one of the Bologna Hills. The entire city can be seen from the monastery cemetery. The beautiful Renaissance facade was designed by architect Biagio Rossetti from Ferrara. You can admire valuable paintings and sculptures from the 16th and 17th centuries as well as 15th-century frescoes.
