This is the largest and most popular city park in Bologna, designed by Piedmontese Sambuy. It was opened in 1879 under the name "Passeggio Regina Margherita" and was a tribute to the wife of King Umbert I. It has an area of 26 hectares and is inspired by English romantic parks.
