KOGArt Ház (or KOGArt House) is an art gallery, being one of several institutions belonging to the Gábor Kovács Art Foundation. There is one permanent exhibition in this gallery entitled A kaleidoscope that shows Hungarian contemporary art.
The name KOGArt comes from the name of the founder of the foundation, Gábor Kovács. His private art collections became the basis for the Art Foundation, founded in 2003. This foundation currently collects mainly works of Hungarian authors, but also Central European artists. The "Kaleidoscope" exhibition presents the most valuable and interesting exhibits from these collections.
The gallery is based in a classicist villa, which Ferenc József Landauer built at the end of the 19th century as his summer residence. Before the villa became the seat of the gallery, it changed its owner several times. Currently, the villa also has a restaurant and a banquet hall available for rent.
