The Byzantine church was built around the ancient Baptistery, dated to the fifth century and considered the oldest in Europe and connected by a system of catacombs with the nearby church. St. Sophia. Currently, only ruins remain of the temple, while you can see the aforementioned Baptistery, decorated with antique icons.
