Panagia Platsani Church

Initially, the church was within the castle walls, but after the earthquake in 1956 it was moved to its present place. It draws attention with the white walls and the contrasting dome in blue. There is an icon of the Mother of God in the temple, which are associated with legends of its miraculous properties.
