Archaeological Museum of Ioannina

The museum presents archaeological monuments found in Epirus. They cover the period from the early Paleolithic to the end of the Roman Empire in the 3rd century AD. At exhibitions you can see prehistoric tools, weapons and jewelry, sculptures and vases from the Greek period and Roman mosaics. The most important part of the exhibition is dedicated to the Greek sanctuary of Dodoni.
