Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

Monument erected in 1932 to honor Greeks fallen in all wars to defend the country. It is a three-winged building, built of limestone, modeled on French war monuments with elements of art deco and neoclassicism. The central part is occupied by a plate with the figure of a lying warrior. A candle is burning beside it. In front of the Grave, full of evonias. A ceremonial changing of the guard takes place every day at noon.
