Syntagma Square

The main square of Athens located in front of the Parliament building. It was marked out in the 19th century and its name means Square of the Constitution. Around the square there are representative state buildings and expensive hotels. There is also the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, in front of which is Ewzoni, a representative unit of the Greek army.
