Consecrated in 1704, the basilica is one of the most interesting baroque temples in Bavaria. It was built by two masters of Baroque architecture - Georg Dientzenhofer and Abraham Leuthner. In the main nave there are 12 full relics (mummies decorated in rich costumes) from Roman catacombs.
