Retromuseum is a place where you can go back to the times of Czechoslovakia. It shows everyday life in the sixties, seventies and eighties of the twentieth century. The museum reconstructed the appearance of typical apartments and offices from this period. There is also an exhibition of Czechoslovak design and household appliances.
The Retromuseum was founded at the beginning of the 21st century and is an attempt to show what everyday life was like in Czechoslovakia. His exhibition consists of two permanent exhibitions. The first is recreated interiors of homes and workplaces from this period. You can see original furniture, appliances and household appliances. Care was taken about all the details, including children's toys as well as trinkets and decorative fabrics. The second exhibition is Czechoslovak design. There are glass, ceramics, jewelry, artistic fabrics, but also furniture and everyday objects.
