The former district of artisans working for the army of King Frederick William I is called "the part of the Netherlands in Brandenburg". In the middle of the 18th century, the king ordered 130 brick houses to be built so that the craftsmen brought from the Netherlands would feel at home. Currently, it is an atmospheric corner full of small shops, cafes and bars.
