The former NDR Film Museum presents the history of German cinema. The most important part of the permanent exhibition is the exhibition dedicated to the achievements of the Babelsberg Studio - the oldest film studio in the world, founded in 1912, which created such monumental works as "The Blue Angel" by Josef von Sternberg and "Metropolis" by Fritz Lang.
