The zoo has 1,600 animals from over 230 species, mainly from Africa, Asia and Europe. Some animals can be fed individually with specially prepared food. Children can play on several playgrounds and ride a pony or camel. There is also a spacious restaurant with a terrace overlooking the elephant paddock.
