Experimenta

The Experimint science center was opened in 2011 on the initiative of the inhabitants of Frankfurt. This interactive museum has over 130 experimental stations, and the only thing you can't find in it is the sign saying 'don't touch'. While exploring the object, you can feel like a fakir lying on a hundred nails, or understand the principle of tornado formation.

Experimental stands have been divided into ten topics and cover issues in mathematics, computer science, physics and technology. The museum's goal is to reduce or exclude possible fears of technological change and interest in learning through play. The facility is managed on a voluntary basis.

In addition to the permanent exhibition, Experiminta offers workshops, family lectures and scientific shows for kindergartens and schools. As part of its educational activities, the center conducts training for teachers and tutors.
