Castle Mainau

Gothic castle, which was the seat of the Teutonic Order since the 12th century. In the building renovated under the necessity of the 20th century, you can see exhibitions that guide visitors through the history of the Teutonic Knights from the time the founding of the order in Jerusalem to modern times. Some of the interiors in which the exhibitions are presented are originally furnished and decorated with carved ceilings and decorative fabrics.
