The ruins of one of the three churches located within the Old Town. It was destroyed in 1943 as a result of Allied air raids. It was left ruined to commemorate World War II. Contemporary sculptures are placed in the gothic nave and presbytery. Next to the church is the Peace Bell offered by the Hiroshima authorities.
