Panoptikum is the largest and oldest wax office in Germany. There are over 120 wax models of people from the world of politics, culture, science and sport. You can see here both historical figures, such as the English King Henry VIII, as well as contemporary monarchs, e.g. Elizabeth II, or celebrities, including Robbie Williams or Angelina Jolie. The visit to Panoptikum lasts from 30 to 60 minutes. You can rent an audio guide in German or English with information about the museum and individual characters.
You can also see the giant giant Mariedl 2.27 meters high or a man with three eyes. Not all figures are based on real characters. There is also a department with strange creatures, including a medical, anatomic display that completes the exhibition and can give goose bumps.
