The only money museum in Germany has 90,000 in its collections coins from around the world from ancient times to the present day. One of the most valuable exhibits is the Roman aureus depicting the murder of Julius Caesar - only two such coins have survived in the world. The museum also has a collection of banknotes numbering 255,000. pieces.
