Old Synagogue Erfurt

The oldest preserved synagogue in Europe. The most built part of it is a piece of the western wall from around 1094. A museum presenting the medieval history of the Jewish community in Erfurt has been operating here since 2009. Once a month, "Evenings of the Erfurt Synagogue" are organized here, during which lectures and concerts are held.
