The church was built in the second half of the 19th century for the Russian community of Dresden and the diplomats living here. Fyodor Dostoyevsky baptized his daughter here. It is a stone budolwa consisting of adjacent square rooms. A tower with a bell tower rises above the entrance. The nave and presbytery are crowned with small domes.
