Princely Residence Castle

The picturesque castle is the seat of the princes of Lippe. Its construction lasted from the sixteenth to the seventeenth century, and its architecture is dominated by a German variation of the Renaissance style. The castle can be visited with a guide almost entirely, excluding private prince rooms. The restored interiors contain numerous works of art.
