Bad Hindelang is an alpine holiday destination that offers many hiking opportunities in summer and turns into a family ski area in winter.

The town is situated in the Allgäu Alps and has retained the character typical of Bavarian towns. There are traditional houses with wooden floors and balconies, on which flower pots hang in the summer, a small stone church and intimate guesthouses, which are especially liked by tourists looking for a place for a family holiday.

The vicinity of Bad Hindelang is made up of forested mountains slightly above 1,500 m above sea level. Above them, at a slightly greater distance, the rocky peaks of the Alps rise. All this makes it a perfect place for longer and shorter hikes in the beautiful natural surroundings in summer. There are also many lower meadows in the valley, which are perfect for walks for less advanced tourists.

In winter, there is a ski resort near Bad Hindelang offering over 30 km of slopes, mainly of medium difficulty. There are also donkey meadows for learning to ski and a snow park.
