Choir of the Aachen Cathedral

The Gothic choir was built in the years 1355–1414. Probably earlier in its place was a rectangular Carolingian choir. The choir measures 25 m long, 13 m wide and 32 m high. Its outer wall is almost entirely glazed, modeled on the Sainte-Chapelle chapel in Paris.
