Local name: Grande Galerie de l'Évolution
Located inside:
National Museum of Natural History
The Great Gallery of Evolution is part of the Natural History Museum in Paris. On several floors, there are stuffed and properly preserved models of about 7,000 animals living in all Earth's climate zones.
The Great Gallery of Evolution is to show the biodiversity of our planet and adapt species to life in different environments. On the ground floor you can see the giant skeleton of a whale, the largest living mammal. Above we go through various living environments and climatic zones, getting to know more species of animals, including those threatened with extinction.
