Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris

The Municipal Museum of Modern Art in Paris is located in the Tokyo Palace. The collection here includes the works of the most outstanding artists with such names as Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Marice de Vlaminck, Pierre Bonnard.

The museum occupies the east wing of the modernist Tokyo Palace, built on the occasion of the International Exhibition of Art and Technology in 1937. The facility shows the changes that have taken place in world art over the 20th century. There are both cross-section and monographic exhibitions devoted to a specific artist and his work. Every six weeks temporary exhibitions are changed that relate to current events or phenomena in art.
