Debse Passerelle is a footbridge connecting New York and Branly Boulevards. It is the second most important monument of metal architecture in Paris next to the Eiffel Tower harmoniously spread over the waters of the Seine. At night it is highlighted.
The bridge was built in connection with the 1900 World Exhibition. It provided better pedestrian communication between the exhibition grounds. It was planned as a temporary crossing, but it turned out that it greatly facilitates traffic in the surrounding districts. So, after minor modifications, it remained in place.
