Hadsund is a town on the Mariagel fjord with a marina and a fishing port. It is a relatively new city, a local industrial and service center.
The city developed in the mid-19th century and is now a food and chemical industry center. There is a bridge over the Mariager fjord. The buildings are low and modern, including two observation towers, Toft Øst and Øster Hurup Bytorvet, from which you can view the panorama of the bay.
Hadsund's location on the deepest of the Danish fjords has been the engine of its development from the very beginning. A port was built here, to which both merchant and fishing ships land today. There is also Hadsund marina where yachts and sailboats can moor.
Hadsund's attractions include the Deer Park. Deer, roe deer and other species of ungulates live here over a vast area in conditions similar to the natural ones. At the pitch, you can visit the nature center.
