St. Alexander Nevsky Church
Local name: Skt. Aleksander Nevskij Kirke
The church is the only Russian Orthodox temple in Copenhagen. It was built at the expense of Russia in 1881 at the request of Tsarina Maria Feodorovna. The appearance of the building is inspired by Russian architecture from the 17th century. In the niche between the bells you can see a monument to the patron of the church, St. Alexander Nevsky.
