Daliborka - Jail and Torture Tower

At the exhibition you can see the tools of the executioners, used since the Middle Ages until the end of the 18th century, when the torture ban was introduced in the Czech Republic. A prison operated in the 15th-century tower for 200 years. The first convict was the knight Dalibor of Kozojed executed in 1498 for helping the rebel peasants.
