The maze of mirrors is located near the lookout tower on Petrina in Prague. It is a wooden pavilion from the late nineteenth century, in which various mirrors were placed. The road leading between them leads to the diorama depicting the scene of the battle of 1648, when the Swedish army tried to cross the Charles Bridge.
The pavilion was built in 1891 for the needs of the National Exhibition. He was later transferred to Petrin. This is quite a loose reference to the Gothic Spicka gate, which is located in the fortifications of the Prague castle.
Mirrors have been installed inside the pavilion that distort the image and make finding the right passage quite difficult. People who manage to do this can admire the diorama depicting the attempt of the Swedes to enter Prague in the 17th century. Thanks to the use of mirrors, the scene looks three-dimensional.
