Smrek is an unusual peak with two vertices - their altitudes are 1123 and 1124 mnpm. It is situated in the High Jizera Mountains. It is an excellent viewpoint and attractive tourist destination for hiking.
The lower of the peaks is located on the Polish-Czech border, the higher is on the side of our southern neighbors. A 20-meter observation tower has been built here, from which you can admire the Lusetian Mountains and the Jizera Mountains as well as the Giant Mountains.
There is also a monument to the German poet Theodor Körner, who commemorates his visit to these pages at the beginning of the 19th century.
At the top of Smrek you can get one of the blue hiking trails, leading on the Czech side from Nové Město pod Smrkem and the green, leading district of Chernivtsi-Zdroj, Swieradow Zdroj.
