The Flower Garden in Kromieryż is a beautiful park in the style of Italian and Dutch Baroque. The entire complex extends over approximately 64 hectares. In 1998, the Flower Garden together with the Archbishop's Palace and the Castle Garden were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
In the center of the gardens there is an octagonal rotunda erected in 1674. The building is decorated with a combination of stucco and mythological and allegorical paintings. Inside is the Foucault pendulum, placed there at the end of the 19th century by a professor of the local junior high school, František Nábělek.
The largest object located within the Flower Garden is a 200-meter colonnade decorated with 46 sculptures depicting characters from Greek and Roman mythology. Visitors also have the opportunity to enter the gallery roof, from where you can admire the gardens, as well as ... a maneuvering area for children, where they learn traffic rules.
