AYIA NAPA tourist attractions

+1 attraction

Agia Napa is one of the most famous Cypriot seaside resorts. It is famous for its crystal clear water, sandy beaches with a gentle descent to the sea, and an extensive entertainment offer that makes it often called "Cypriot Ibiza".

Until the second half of the 20th century, it was a small village whose inhabitants dealt with fishing. It was only the increase in the popularity of Cyprus as a summer vacation destination that began to build hotels and resorts.

Today they constitute the vast majority of the town's buildings. The resorts, often with their own swimming pools and recreational facilities, stretch along magnificent sandy beaches. Due to the gentle descent to the sea, this resort is readily chosen by families with children.

On the other hand, Agia Napa is a synonym of great fun and a resort for young people. Discos, bars, clubs operate both on the beaches and in the town itself. In the season, events last until very late at night, and crowds of tourists are playing on the streets.

The village is a great place for water sports enthusiasts. You can dive, go windsurfing, water skiing, ride scooters, go canoeing and kayaking. Cruise cruises combined with picnics and boat events are also organized.
