Famagusta Gate

Local name: Πύλη Αμμοχώστου

It is one of the three gates that are part of the city walls from the Venetian period. It was built in 1567-70. The entrance is decorated with a decorative facade on one side and a straight arch on the other. At the entrance there are two rooms where exhibitions and other cultural events are currently taking place.
